That's a fascinating observation. It does seem like an interesting co-incidence--one that imo would be worthy of further investigation and even some hypothesizing. If I were you, I'd forward your note to some seismologists.

I'm sure the connection did not escape many but what makes it more interesting is its connection with the age of Kali.........

the Tsunami has been regarded by some as an "act of God" and one that heralds the age of Kali ('believed' as in part of their religious faith by over 10% of the worlds pop). Karli (the black one) is depicted as iding a white horse and in her wake comes destruction....... A Tsunami is the ultimate white horse of the ocean with normal white horses being the collapsed crest of choppy seas (tha is what we call thm where I come from).... and the star burst in what constillation did it occur.....???? Sagitarius....

Ok coincidence... but how about this rather personal experience....

on the 1st of december last year I came to a realisation that a model I was working on was significantly more important than intended.... i had been building a dynamic model that reflected natural systems... it's pupose being the understanding and development of sustainable agriculture..... but it revealed far more.... it had application on a far grander scale... a cosmic as well as the more Earthly intended.... I also realised that within the model was buried a fourth (or you could argue a fifth) "dimension"...........

it was a sufficient realisation to bring me to India (a search on the internet had identified that the spiritual teachings of Sri Aurobindo (dec'd 1950) had distinct parellels with the model I was working on... a union of the scientific with the philosophiccal and an active or concious role for man in the future evolution of Life)....

10 days later I arrive in Calicut, Kerala...........

In doing so I abandoned just about everything (computer, home [rented] clothes, books and debts....).. I came to India to complete the work bringing with me only a change of clothes, a toothbrush and 18 accademic books.. (data analysis, soil chem, soil mechanics....etc)

On arrival in India I originally intended to take up to two weeks to reach Pondicherry (the location of Sri Aubindos Ashram) but instead found myself on the once weekly express to Madras.... Indian trains are an experience and 16 hours on one (after having spent nearly 24 hours in flying and transit) is extremely stressful..... so is Madras.... I left immediately catching a bus to Pondicherry.......

having left London on the friday morning i spent the night in dubai (12 hours transit) before flying to calicut and spending the sat night in a hotel then on the sunday evening catching a train accross a 'sub-continent then a bus finally arriving in pondicherry on the monday at 6.00pm............. what should have taken at least a week was achieved in 3 days... i arrived in pondi on the 13th when I should not have arrived before the 18th......

I spent five days in Pondi visiting the Ashram on several ccassions but not finding what I was looking for... to cut a long story short after 4 days I realised that I had made a mistake...... there was nothing here for me... nothing..... it was funny really... it really was funny..... but then something happened.....

I was filled with a desire to move to move north.... I have never been so compelled nor in doing so felt such JOY (it is difficult to communicate but when I left Pondi I was so pleased...overwelmed)

I headed for Goa whee I spent the next 5 days..... on the way I had began to notice the moon, not totally unusual since I like I suspect many who may read this post I recognise the tromendous influence that that celestrial body has and so take it in to consideration in daily life.

In Goa I watched the moon rise each evening and as I did I increasing felt tha I should travel further north and that I MUST move before the full moon (25th Dec).... I left goa on the 23rd..to bombay and on arrival in bombay i bought a train ticket to Delhi and caught the evening train.... a 26 hour journey..... interetsing way to spend Christmas day........in fact too much......

I jumped off at Matura.... birth place of Khrisna... again there is more to this than I write here.. it serves only to say that I was 'encourage' to get off at Mathura and did not know of it's religious significance at the time.......... i spent the night in a cold hotel and decided in the morning to head to Agra....... I did not intend to do anything in Mathura..it meant nothing to me..... but then the bell boy stopped me... he spoke no English and I no Hindi....... but he manage to communicate to me that I must not leave Mathura without visiting the temple..... he was particularly insistant, not anoyingly so and nor did he stand to gain anything......

so I spent a few hours in a temple whilst on the eastern coast and the neibouring shores they were realling from the tsunami.... not much to that really........ before heading to Agra

.... Agra is hell......... I found myself stuck there, after having raced accross and up india like I had a rocket up my arse I found myself stopped.... I wanted to travel south but couldn't, eventually I move to Delhi and from there to Rajasthan........

In Rajasthan I have been spiraling in on Pushkar and as I have done so I have been consructing this model... and it rally is special... it crosses dimensions... it brings (at least IMHO) a spiritual 'quantifiable' yes a quantifiable component into the universe.. one that may change things......

the model may be a means to demonstrate events at the quantum level to the cosmological and at the same time expain the workings of your back garden..... it may i believe place the concept of gravitons within a working model that unifies the four laws of physics (unfortunately my level in this field limits the degree to which I can build a quatum model).. it may also explain the origin of the singularity that started it all...... in the field it was designed for... agro-ecology it (and I feel professionally qualified here..lol) it does work.......


the above may seem a bit of a mix of science and "mumbo'jumbo" perhaps more one than the other but the model once understood shows a mchanism for a "living God" one that is both the generation and the product of the universe... in essence an organisational mechanism that builds upon (learns) from itself....

the full extent of the application and importance of this model (which I personally feel has not originated from me but simply manifested through me) has yet to be realised.......

either that or i have just dropped the ultimate personal clanger..... abandoned all for a model that doesn't work on the basis of vague mystical interpretations...... or or abandoned everything to concentrate on building one that unifies laws and disciplines.... and helps us to solve many of our environmental problems and even our relationship with the universe............

I personally think he benefits far outweigh any egg that may end up on my face.. a risk worth taking........

anyway i should have the book completed before my funds and visa run out (may).... then I will be an illegal and destitute alien but one with a book.... and who knows maybe a book worth havin....
